Accreditations & Endorsements 

Association for Biblical Higher Education: Northpoint Bible College Grand Rapids Campus holds Candidate status for accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). As Northpoint Grand Rapids continues to exist as a location of Northpoint Bible College in Haverhill, MA, it also enjoys accreditation from the ABHE by virtue of this relationship. The ABHE is recognized by the Department of Education in Washington D.C. and is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). CHEA is the umbrella organization for Regional, Specialized/Professional, and National Accrediting Associations.

Alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education: As an additional location of Northpoint Bible College in Haverhill, MA, Northpoint Grand Rapids is an Assemblies of God Bible College. In anticipation of reception of independent accreditation with the ABHE, the Grand Rapids campus has applied to the Alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education and its status is presently under review.

 

Michigan Department of Higher Education: Northpoint Bible College is approved by the Michigan Department of Higher Education to grant the Associate of Arts and the Bachelor of Arts degrees in Ministry Leadership and the Master of Arts degree in Practical Theology at the Grand Rapids Campus. Upon reception of independent accreditation with the ABHE, the Grand Rapids Campus plans to make application to the Michigan Department of Higher Education for approval to grant the same degrees.

Veterans Administration: Northpoint Bible College Haverhill, MA, is approved to certify veterans who are entitled to educational benefits under existing laws. Any veteran wishing to attend Northpoint under the provisions of these laws should make application to his/her local Veterans Administration Office for approval. The school will gladly assist veterans in securing benefits under the Title 38 program. Upon reception of independent accreditation with the ABHE, Northpoint Grand Rapids will seek approval with the Department of Veteran Affairs to offer the same benefits.

Title IV: Northpoint Haverhill, MA, is a participant in the U.S. Department of Education Title IV program. The Grand Rapids Campus also participates by virtue of its relationship with the Haverhill Campus. Upon reception of independent accreditation with the ABHE, Northpoint Grand Rapids will apply to the U.S. Department of Education for approval to offer federal financial aid.

 

MACRAO: Northpoint Grand Rapids is a member of the Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (MACRAO).
